Expressive Type
Mellisonant, pronounced mel-lis-on-nant, is defined as “pleasing to the ear; sweet, dulcet, or honeyed”. It is often used to describe music or sweet sounds, and rolls off the tongue in such a way as its definition.
I chose a typeface and a composition of each letter that would communicate visually, how it feels to say verbally, and what one might imagine a pleasing tune—flowing in and out—looking like. Something soft and lovely and sweet.
